Today I found out some amazing news!!!

I MADE VARSITY VOLLEYBALL!!!!!!

I am so excited! I am one of two of the younger grade on the team. The rest are the older grade.

Today I tried out for Varsity volleyball at my school. Tryouts are over a span of about 3-4 days, so I don't know if I've made it or not yet!! This is just like softball. I think I was one of the better ones there, (my grade, anyway) so I'm feeling pretty confident. I almost positive I made at least JV, if not Varsity.



*Knocks on Wood* Okay, I'm safe now...

According to a bunch of quizzes in the teen magazines my friend brought to a sleepover on Friday, I:

Yesterday (before the computer was back) I was doing Training on Wii Sports. I was playing the tennis one where you have to try and get the ball in the orange bar. I play with my Mii, my parents Miis, and my friends Miis. I was playing with my friend Lauren's Mii, and I was doing really well. The most I'd ever gotten was 49 with my friend Hannah's Mii. Well I got 50 with Lauren, and I was thinking I would just get a gold medal, like usual. But nooooooo....................

Instead of gold...I got a PLATINUM medal!!

So instead of Bronze, Silver, Gold, it goes:

Bronze, Silver, Gold, PLATINUM!

Hello, Goodbye

This Friday marks the end of first semester!!! Wow!! We have had a lot of tests and finals recently in math, science, French, and (I have heard) health. I have health next semester. I've heard that there are mixed feelings on health. Apparently all the teachers are great, but there are tests every Friday and sometimes it's gross. Well, what can you do, it's health!!

I will miss P.E. though. It is really fun, minus the Fun Run and the Pacer. Oh, well.

After a long 8 years, George Bush is FINALLY out of the White House. BARACK OBAMA IS NOW OFFICIALLY PRESIDENT!!!!! We watched the inauguration in French and LA/SS. His speech was amazing. Did you hear that there were like 7 million people there at one point??? Wow...well...hopefully we won't be disappointed!!!!!

So Very Sorry

I am so very sorry that I have not posted since the 11th. My computer was "in the shop" because there were so many viruses on it. I will make up for the missed posts today and this week!!!!!!!

Lost and Found!!!!

I am so excited right now!!!

About 6 months ago, I was on vacation, and I thought I lost my glasses. I was really disappointed, because I really liked them. I got new ones with a stronger perscription, and I have been wearing those since August.

Today, I was searching for my retainer in my volleyball bag, and there is this little pocket lined with flannel in it. I saw a pair of glasses in it, and thought, Oh, mom just put my glasses in there in case I wanted to take my sport goggles off, no big. But then I'm in the bathroom takinga shower, and I see another pair of glasses under a pile of sweaty clothes. I'm thinking, Wait, I thought those were in my volleyball bag! How did they get up here? Wait................................. I run downstairs, rip open the flannel pocket, and there, sitting in it, were my old glasses!! I put them on, and I looked a little different, because my old ones were more squarular than my new ones. I won't be able to go back to them, though, because they aren't as strong, but I was just so happy to find them!!!!!

AGAIN?!?!?

IT'S SNOWING. AGAIN. It's supposed to turn to rain around 10:00, though. My dad said "I'm officially sick of snow!" I have to say I love the snow, I just hate it when it's so wet afterwards. But it does looks very pretty because everything seems that much greener when it melts!!

Attention Guiness......

If I'm not mistaken, my cousins in California have broken a Guiness World Record!! They have a goldfish who has been alive for over 11 years!!

I never thought you could fit so much candy in one store!!!

When we were in California, we went to this amazing candy store!! There was a gelato bar, a movie screen playing Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory (the old one) and a WHOLE WALL OF PEZ!!!
