Happy Father's Day!!

Wow, today has been CRAZY!!!! We had waffles for breakfast (with whipped cream), then we went to a minor-league baseball game (the weather was WEIRD. It started out HOT and sunny, then it got cloudy, then it started raining with THUNDER and LIGHTNING.) We came home and watched the US Open (boring), then we went to Whole Foods and got some salmon burgers and crab cakes for dinner. It's been a pretty good day, and it is STILL THUNDERING.

1 DAY LEFT!!!!!!

THERE IS 1 DAY LEFT OF SCHOOL!!!!! OMG! I am SOOOOOOOO excited! We got yearbooks today, and I got 30 signatures with more to come tomorrow! We had Homeroom, 1st Period, (Mr. O started crying!) 2nd Period, 5th Period, 6th (we watched "Remember the Titans"), then FUN DAY! There was cotton candy, a DJ, someone from a smoothie place, and a face painter. All the lines stretched forever, though, so I didn't get cotton candy, a smoothie, or my face painted. I just walked around the track with Hannah and talked about summer! MY BACKPACK IS GOING TO ENJOY ITS 3 MONTHS IN THE CLOSET!!!! moohaha.

Wild Day at WILD WAVES!

Today was the Honors Society Field Trip to WILD WAVES AND ENCHANTED VILLAGE!!! It was SO MUCH FUN!!! It wasn't the hottest day, but it was nice and sunny for part of the time. We went on all the great rides like the Timber Hawk. But the Ring of Fire was closed, and the Wild Thing's line was WAY WAY WAY too long. We went on a BUNCH of huge water slides and the Wave Pool, and the Activity Pool. Then after that we bought some food, chicken tenders, fries, and a funnel cake. It was REALLY GOOD!!!! The bus ride took FOREVER, though, but on the way back, I slept. We got back to school a little early, but they didn't make us go back to class, we just went and lay down on the sunbaked tennis courts and slept, and watched movies on Ellen's iPhone. I HAD SO MUCH FUN!!!

HAPPY ANNIVERSARY G-MA & G-PA!!

Today is my Grandma and Grandpa's 52nd Anniversary!!! Two years ago, when it was their 50th, there was this HUGE party that a BUNCH of people were at, and there was cake, and a big slideshow and everything. I have a slideshow on a CD.

HAPPY ANNIVERSARY!!!!!!!

Stanley Cup Excitement

Yesterday, my mom, dad, and I went out to dinner at a really good barbecue place. There were about 5 TVs in there, and only 2 of them were showing the Stanley Cup. Almost everyone in the place was craning their necks to find a TV playing it. We watched the last 3 minutes while the waitress was getting our check, and both my parents were pleased when Pittsburg won. Not so much for the other people in the restaurant; they were all pretty disappointed. I guess Detroit has won a lot, and they didn't really play very well, but I just think that the Penguins are kind of a weird name for a hockey team. (Oh, and the food at the restaurant was really good.)

Study-udy-udy

Sorry I haven't posted in a while. I have finals this week, and I've been studying SO MUCH. I spent like 4 hours last night doing review packets for Health, Math, and Science. And then French, but Mrs. Williams won't let us take the packet home. LA/SS doesn't have a final, thank Gosh. I have French and Math tomorrow, French, Math, and Health on Friday, and Science on Tuesday. But it's nice to know that after these finals, SCHOOL IS (pretty much) OVER!!! well, we still have to get up and go, but there's NO WORK!!! The last week is pretty much pointless excpet for Tuesday, the Science final.

On Monday, Honors Society members get to go to Wild Waves!!! It's gonna be SO MUCH FUN! Hopefully it'll be sunny, because I got some great perscription sunglasses today that I want to test out. And I want to wear one of my new swimsuits before July.

On Tuesday, there's the Science Final, then chillin' in all the other classes

On Wednesday, we get our YEARBOOKS!! We go around to all the classes and sign.

Thursday is FUN DAY! We have a few periods in the morning, then go outside on the football field and sign yearbooks and eat barbecue. Last year there were blow-up toys. This year, there will be a cotton candy machine, a DJ, and a face painter!

FRIDAY IS THE LAST DAY OF SCHOOL!!!!!!!!! YAY!

Remembering D-Day

As most of you know, today is the 65th Anniversary of the Allied Invasion of Normandy, France. On the news today, there was a big memorial thing. There was also a big article in the paper about how Obama was there in Normandy and how he was at Buchenwald, and how he walked around Buchenwald with Elie Weisel. And (a coincidence) in LA/SS, when we were studying WWII, we watched the Auschwitz special with Oprah, and she walked around with the same man.

Remember D-Day and Support Our Troops!

A Little More Than Summer...

Okay, I really like warm weather, but yesterday was a little overkill. It got up to 93 degrees yesterday. Everyone was dying in school, but not people in Ms. O's room! Her room used to be a computer lab, so it has air conditioning!!! YAY!
