Ooh! That's gotta hurt...

Just now like 15 minutes ago, I had to get 2 shots!! It was supposed to be just a physical, but then the nurse just HAD to ask "Is she up to date on her vaccines?" And Mom was like "Well she has to have Gardasil." Then they were like "She should have another chicken pox" So I ended up getting Gardasil (HPV) and then some other one for chicken pox that started with a V. Gardasil really stung!! It hurts now. Hopefully I'll be able to do well in volleyball practice tonight!!

Intense-ocity

Yesterday we played a volleyball game against KiJH. All of our games so far, agaisnt RJH, FHJH, RHJH, KaJH, and EJH jave all gone to only three games. But KiJH was good. They had this amazing hitter, #33, and it would always look like she would hit out, but then it would just chip the line. She had like 6 of those. It was a very intense third game, because we were down like 9-17, and Maddie served us back to be ahead 19-17. But that was the game we lost. it was the first game we had lost all season. But now we have taken over first place, and we will for sure be hosting the PLAYOFFS!!! Boo Ya!!!

I smell SNOW DAY!!!! MooHaHa

We've had a very strange 2009, weather wise. For like the fourth time since after Christmas, I have posted about strange random spurts of snowfall. 2 of those random spurts have granted us a 2-Hour late start from school. But I'm guessing this one will get us a full snow day. We probably have an inch and counting. And it's not letting up!!

This is in the space of about two hours. It's even sticking to the road now!!! Hmmm...how will I spend my snow day? Go to a friend's house and sled down a hill? (Provided it's good sledding snow) Have a snowball fight with a friend? Stay inside and drink hot cocoa? (Psh, like THAT'D ever happen...) (Knock on wood)

New TV!!!

Yesterday we got a new TV for my playroom!! It used to be this tiny little probably 18" screen with a really fuzzy picture, but now it's a 37" with HD!! (or it will have HD once the cable guy comes.)

In case y'all are wondering, I have nothing to do, and that's why there have been three posts in the space of about 15 minutes. Ciao!!

I guess it really is good that we didn't drive to my Aunt's basketball tournament because if it is snowing here...

Then it will be REALLY snowy on the Pass. Whew!!

In case y'all didn't know, today is INTERNATIONAL WOMEN DAY!!!! WOO-HOO! GO WOMEN!!! Is there an International Men Day?? I dunno...I'll have to check.

Baking Day!

Today we were SUPPOSED to drive to my Aunt's college basketball game, but it was so snowy over the pass today that mom didn't want to risk it. So instead we had a baking day! We made pancakes for breakfast, then I made homemade bread. Then cookies. Then hummus. It has been a very delicious day.
